Reclaiming Ancient Teachings

Indigenous African education plays a critical role in the liberation of a people. Because it is tied to daily living, it cannot be divorced from language, thought, belief and identity. There is therefore no distinction between formal and informal education. Neither is learning and education reserved for children and young people of school going age. It begins at birth till death. In other words, an African’s whole natural and supernatural existence is an organic university. In this education platform which can either be physical or digital, our aim is to create space to reclaim ancient knowledges as vehicles for healing, learning and liberation.
